Although Evertaut as a company is actually over 80 years old, today we are celebrating 15 years under the ownership of our current Managing Director, Nigel Smalley.
Nigel officially took over the business on 7th June 2002 but his history with Evertaut started long before that. In fact, after graduating with a BSc in Engineering, Nigel joined Evertaut as a Stock Controller back in 1981. Over the following years he worked his way up taking on various different roles within the company including Production Planner, Materials Manager and Production Manager. Then in 2002 after gaining a wealth of experience across the company, Nigel took ownership of Evertaut himself.
Evertaut was first established in the 1930’s as a supplier of industrial seating for factories and workplaces (above left).
This extract from an old Evertaut brochure (above right) shows the type of reception seating that was popular in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s.
Today, Evertaut continues to be a proud supplier of auditorium and contract seating to a wide range of establishments across the UK from schools and universities, theatres and cinemas to hospitals and football clubs. The company is accredited to ISO 9001: 2015 Quality Standard and strives to exceed expectations in the design, manufacture and installation of UK commercial seating.
